Open Water Scuba Diver Instructor (OWSDI) Course

The SDI Open Water Scuba Diver Instructor (OWSDI) course is designed to equip current Divemasters or Assistant Instructors with the knowledge needed to safely work as a Scuba Diving Instructor with a recognized dive training organization. This program is divided into two sections, an instructor development course (IDC) and an instructor evaluation course (IEC).

Description

  • Course Completion Certificate:

SDI/TDI is a member of most International Diver Training Accreditation schemes or Associations, including the RSTC (Recreational Scuba Training Council), EUF (European Underwater Federation) and the ISO (International Standards Organisation). The SDI/TDI courses either meet, or in most cases, exceed these standards – one of the reasons SDI & TDI c-cards are recognised and respected the world over.

  • Outcome (What the student learns):

Upon successful completion of this course, graduates may: Teach the SDI Open Water Scuba Diver, Advanced Adventure Diver Specialty, Computer Diver, Rescue Diver and Divemaster course. This program will thoroughly prepare Instructor Candidates for a successful career in the diving industry.
